An iron pour is a community of people who respect and listen to one another. Most people can agree that the entire word should be like that, and that when globally there is an issue we need to work together to fix it. The melting of the polar ice caps is a problem that will effect everyone in the world, and I used an iron pour to represent that. I made topographical sand molds of Antarctica that I packed with ice before the molten iron was poured into them. The steam and rapid disappearance of the packed ice is an accelerated view of what will happen to the north and south pole is something is not done to help.
